This project consists of constructing a new pretreatment basin to expand the pretreatment capacity from 20 mgd to 30 mgd. The pretreatment basin consists of rapid mixing, three-stage flocculation, and plate settlers with sludge collectors and pumps. The project also includes construction of a raw water flow meter vault, a control valve vault, new chemical feed pumps and accessories in the existing Membrane Building, a new electrical building, electrical and instrumentation and control work for the new facilities, and associated site work and yard piping.
