Improvements to the existing Locust Grove WTP: new 40’ dia. Flocculating clarifiers (2 each), new chemical building (Sodium Hypochlorite, Sodium Permanganate, Aluminum Sulfate), new HSPS, new filter building, modifications to the intake structure, converting the existing clarifiers into backwash supply tanks (2 each), and site improvements. The existing plant is to stay in operation until the new plant has been commissioned and in operation; at completion, the existing wetwell and clearwell are to be rehabilitated for continued use. The existing Intake Pump Station will be reused.
